The opportunity:
At Objective Platform, as we continue to experience substantial growth, we are seeking a dynamic Business Controller to elevate our internal and external finance operations. This role is integral to both our day-to-day financial activities and our long-term strategic planning.
You will collaborate closely with our external administration office and various internal teams, including sales, operations and product teams, ensuring seamless financial operations and strategic alignment.

The role in a nutshell:
Responsibilities:
As a key member of our finance team, you will:
- Prepare month-end close reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Act as the main point of contact for external payroll and bookkeeping services.
- Lead the invoicing process, maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee the processing of payments and expenses.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our finance processes.
- Maintain, analyse, and optimise our KPI framework.
- Create and maintain reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop business cases for new product launches and other strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in audit, financial control, business control, or a financial analyst role, preferably in an international environment.
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong skills in business analytics, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Excellent relationship-building skills across all levels of the company.
- Affinity with numbers and an interest in continuous process improvement.
- Proactive mindset with excellent prioritisation and deadline management skills.
- Fluent in English and knowledgeable of Dutch finance aspects/regulation.
